Our Story:

Founded in 2008 as J’s Auto Service, we rebranded to Josh’s Tune-Up LLC in 2024 to better reflect our mission and services. Our mobile service began in response to the floods of 2008 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During this time, we helped out and worked with many out-of-town contractors who came to assist in the recovery and rebuilding efforts. This experience inspired us to continue offering a flexible and customer-focused alternative to traditional auto repair shops. Instead of calling a tow truck to take your vehicle to a mechanic, you can call us to fix your car on-site. If we need to take your vehicle to a shop, we will inform you and make the necessary arrangements.

Our Mission:

At Josh’s Tune-Up, our mission is to provide quality auto repair at affordable prices, with the convenience of coming directly to our customers. We are a family-owned business, and our daughters actively contribute to our social media and website efforts. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service with integrity and expertise. The shop is led by Josh, an ASE-certified technician.
